This time of year, we celebrate our patients with Patient Appreciation Days. This has become an annual celebration in our office. It’s an opportunity to show gratitude and give back to our patients. We also unite with others in the community to give back to those in need, usually with a food drive of sorts. Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of year. Some people wait for the New Year to evaluate their year, but I love this time to think about how I’ve been blessed. It’s so easy to get lost in the chaos of what’s going on around us that I feel it’s important to take some time to reflect. The colors around us are changing. The grass, trees and flowers are changing to get ready for another year. What are you doing? I encourage you to take out a paper and pen (old technology I know) and at the top write THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR. This is a great exercise to do individually or with your family and friends. You can write down as many things you are grateful for and then review it everyday as a reminder or you can do a 30-day Challenge and write 1 new thing on the list each day that you are grateful for. Either way, when you focus on the positive and good in your life watch how it opens you up to more of it. We have been blessed by so many people and if we can help bless your life with your health challenges, schedule an appointment. Call us at: 303-993-6092. Have a blessed Autumn!
The holiday season is upon us. A time to express appreciation for the people, experiences, and opportunities that enrich our lives. As we take a moment to give thanks and celebrate with our families and our communities – let’s not forget the uniquely valuable small, local businesses that are at the heart of our communities.
In today’s fast-paced world, shopping has never been more convenient with online giants and big-box stores offering rapid delivery and low prices. But, unlike mass retailers, small businesses and local shop owners offer personal relationships, leading to better service and customized recommendations. Whether it’s a handmade candle or boutique clothing, these businesses offer a personal touch that can’t be replicated.
The holiday season is a crucial time for small businesses. Events like “Small Business Saturday” remind us to support the shops that keep our communities vibrant. But it’s important to continue that support throughout the year to ensure these businesses thrive.
This holiday season, when shopping for a gift, a service, or just a little treat for yourself, consider visiting our local businesses first. Every purchase makes a meaningful difference, helping build a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Dawa
