Healing the Family Lineage

May 19, 20231 min read

Our ancestors have powerful influence in our lives, sometimes positive, sometimes negative.  Ancestry, our family lineage, effects our lives in many ways: the color of our eyes and skin, the way we walk, those inborn talents that manifest with little or no background or life exposure, our religion and belief systems.  These can all be influences that have flowed through your ancestors to you, today.

Many unwanted energies and emotions can also be brought forward, generation after generation.  Looking at human history, there is much trauma. A person might experience unreasonable fear, anger and sorrow that does not belong to you, it may belong to your great great great Grandmother. Physical illness and recurring injury in multiple members of a family can be the result of something unresolved that your great grandfather did - you’ve heard of family curses?  There are energies that flow through a family generation after generation, both helpful and crippling.  We can seek resolution and healing, we can bring understanding and compassion, we can ask for blessings and gifts to be brought forward to empower our future with the strengths of our ancestors.

You have access to healing for yourself, AND your ancestors.  Resolving old built up karma clears the way for future generations to live more powerfully, free from the remnants of pain and transgression of those who have gone before.  Your ancestors want to tell their story, and they want to heal.  Help them.  Empower yourself and future generations.

Traditionally, in May and mid-October through mid-November, the veil between the realms of the living and the dead thins. This liminal space, this threshold, is more easily crossed during these times.  Take advantage of this special time, and bring healing and completion.

The holiday season is upon us. A time to express appreciation for the people, experiences, and opportunities that enrich our lives. As we take a moment to give thanks and celebrate with our families and our communities – let’s not forget the uniquely valuable small, local businesses that are at the heart of our communities.

In today’s fast-paced world, shopping has never been more convenient with online giants and big-box stores offering rapid delivery and low prices. But, unlike mass retailers, small businesses and local shop owners offer personal relationships, leading to better service and customized recommendations. Whether it’s a handmade candle or boutique clothing, these businesses offer a personal touch that can’t be replicated.

The holiday season is a crucial time for small businesses. Events like “Small Business Saturday” remind us to support the shops that keep our communities vibrant. But it’s important to continue that support throughout the year to ensure these businesses thrive.

This holiday season, when shopping for a gift, a service, or just a little treat for yourself, consider visiting our local businesses first. Every purchase makes a meaningful difference, helping build a stronger, more connected community for everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Dawa
