What a year this has been! As we once again navigate the frenzy of the holiday season it’s important to pause for a few moments, to remind ourselves to take a deep breath, and most importantly, to appreciate the blessings we have, especially in the tumultuous world of today. It can be challenging to stay grounded and positive with the constant onslaught of news headlines and I find those momentary pauses, no matter how small, help to provide much needed balance.
As I undoubtedly say every year around this time, I’m very humbled and honored by the trust and confidence of all those who have entrusted Hepp Realty over the years to help bring their home ownership dreams and goals to reality. “Thank you” is a small drop in the bucket of my gratitude for your continued support! Joni and I feel absolutely blessed to be able to help our friends and clients navigate through this crazy real estate market that seems determined to emulate one of those “house of illusions” carnival rides where everything is not as it appears.
For me personally this year, I have been blessed to visit more of the most beautiful state and national park areas and to capture so many wonderful photos to share. The time spent with family and friends exploring nature’s wonders is something I cherish. I will close this month by wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a bright holiday season, hopefully filled with an abundance of your own blessings!

The holiday season is upon us. A time to express appreciation for the people, experiences, and opportunities that enrich our lives. As we take a moment to give thanks and celebrate with our families and our communities – let’s not forget the uniquely valuable small, local businesses that are at the heart of our communities.
In today’s fast-paced world, shopping has never been more convenient with online giants and big-box stores offering rapid delivery and low prices. But, unlike mass retailers, small businesses and local shop owners offer personal relationships, leading to better service and customized recommendations. Whether it’s a handmade candle or boutique clothing, these businesses offer a personal touch that can’t be replicated.
The holiday season is a crucial time for small businesses. Events like “Small Business Saturday” remind us to support the shops that keep our communities vibrant. But it’s important to continue that support throughout the year to ensure these businesses thrive.
This holiday season, when shopping for a gift, a service, or just a little treat for yourself, consider visiting our local businesses first. Every purchase makes a meaningful difference, helping build a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Dawa
