Emotional Healing

February 15, 20242 min read

Why?  Because day to day emotional stress builds up, and we don’t always take the time to release it.  We don’t always know how to release it.  You might think it’s a strong, or prudent response, to just slough it off, tough it out, and focus on that long list of responsibilities.   But stress should not be ignored as it accumulates and these heavy emotions embed themselves within the body, causing illness and chronic conditions both emotionally and physically.  Our thoughts turn into emotion, and emotion leads the body to either strength or disease. . You might be stressed just reading this!  Take a deep breath…exhale…`Again: In…Out …

How?  Emotional stress and trauma is carried in the mind and the body.  So that’s where we start.  We will spend a bit of time discussing the specific stress you want to deal with; then I will identify where in your body it is located (in addition to being in your mind - because it’s always hanging out there).  As you bring this stress or trauma to the surface, I will gather it up and direct it out of the mind and body.

Results: This process will leave you more clear-headed, light-hearted, less reactionary, and will provide a sense of peace and calm within you. Many experience positive changes in their health as well, as the body has released the energetic blockages that are associated with stagnation and pain in the body.

Please note: these sessions can be intense, as we are working through deep emotions.  You will probably be quite tired afterward – so try to schedule your appointment on a day when you can return home and rest.  Also, if we are focusing on long term trauma, more than one session will be needed so we can be mindful of your capacity to confront, release and heal the powerful memories and emotions we are working through.  Additional sessions will be honored at the discounted rate.

Please call or text Wellyssa at 720-732-5798 for an appointment.

The holiday season is upon us. A time to express appreciation for the people, experiences, and opportunities that enrich our lives. As we take a moment to give thanks and celebrate with our families and our communities – let’s not forget the uniquely valuable small, local businesses that are at the heart of our communities.

In today’s fast-paced world, shopping has never been more convenient with online giants and big-box stores offering rapid delivery and low prices. But, unlike mass retailers, small businesses and local shop owners offer personal relationships, leading to better service and customized recommendations. Whether it’s a handmade candle or boutique clothing, these businesses offer a personal touch that can’t be replicated.

The holiday season is a crucial time for small businesses. Events like “Small Business Saturday” remind us to support the shops that keep our communities vibrant. But it’s important to continue that support throughout the year to ensure these businesses thrive.

This holiday season, when shopping for a gift, a service, or just a little treat for yourself, consider visiting our local businesses first. Every purchase makes a meaningful difference, helping build a stronger, more connected community for everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Dawa
