Tolison WilliamsOur five-year anniversary is here and we are grateful to be celebrating with our wonderful staff, clients, and community. We are giving ourselves an exciting anniversary gift—a new office! We will be moving to the new building in our office complex in August and look forward to more space for our growing practice and team. We will publish an official announcement when we are settled in. Our phone number and website information will remain the same.

The last year has been an exciting time for our practice. We are so proud to have been a primary sponsor for the First Annual Senior Law Day for Adams and Broomfield Counties that was held on June 2, 2018. We exceeded our attendance goals and the response was amazing. Casey and Ellen served on the Inaugural Planning Committee and enjoyed working with several community partners for the last year to put the event together. Katie and Zack presented at the event, all of our team contributed, and our wonderful law clerk, Hunter, (also Keith’s and Katie’s son) did an amazing job of singing the national anthem. We were so proud of our team. The feedback since the event has been incredible and we are already excited to get working on the event for next year!

Katie and Casey received the prestigious honor of being named as “Super Lawyers Rising Stars” again this year and were featured in the Denver Post. Casey was recently featured in two 9News interviews and provided information about elder law and resources for seniors, their family, and their caregivers. She is grateful for the opportunity to get important information out to the public, especially those who may not otherwise receive it.

Katie was recently appointed as a Volunteer Victim’s Advocate for the Brighton and Commerce City Police Departments. She went through extensive training and is now on call to assist victims of VRA crimes. Katie continues her service as a board member for The Senior Hub, serving senior citizens in Adams County. We see these opportunities as a great way to extend our community involvement and serve those who need it the most.

Casey continues to serve on the Colorado Supreme Court Probate Rules Committee and is excited to be a part of some important legal and policy changes in probate and elder law. She is also serving as the Co-Chair for the Adams and Broomfield Bar Association’s probate section and hopes to lead a strong group of attorneys to provide more local community services in the following year.

We are grateful for the continued support and hard work from our team members—thank you Zack, Ellen, Cindy, Carla, Sarah, and Hunter! We could not do this without you! As our community continues to see development and growth, we hope that we can contribute to the future success of Brighton and neighboring communities. Thank you for another great year and we wish you a blessed summer and safe and happy Independence Day!
