It’s a family affair of nail technicians at The Pink Door in Downtown Brighton on 25 S. Cabbage Ave., in Brighton Colorado. Dedee Harris’ mom is a retired nail tech that did nails for 20 years, while Dedee has 29 years’ experience as she and her two daughters, Courtney and Caytie are 3 of the 5 nail techs that now work at the Pink Door. The Pink Door is a teaching nail salon that began in 2012 with just Dedee providing her excellent services. She is certified to help students get their licenses and improve their technical skills to become great nail techs.
The Pink Door not only has nail services to offer, but also has eyelash extension services too. This enchanting business has its walls lined with boutique items from various local vendors that keep you busy if you have a few minutes to wait before your service. Or, you can just drop by and shop. The Pink Door was the Brighton Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of The Year in 2013. Their annual Toes For The Cure event that began in 2012 has raised money to benefit breast cancer patients each year from donations provided by survivors receiving free services on that day.
