This may seem like a nosey question, but, when was the last time you visited Historic Downtown Brighton? A lot of our residents might say that it’s been awhile. When we took on the project for this month’s cover, our idea was to bring the Downtown to you with our cameo pictures of a variety of places from the area. Many creative ideas can be better in concept than reality, but I have to say that the time spent on this project gave me a wonderful feeling once again about our Historic Downtown district. Putting the Directory together as well provided an amazing understanding of all there is in this very special area.
There are a variety of places to eat, hang out with friends, shop, be entertained, and take care of your personal and professional needs. We have a number of event centers for your upcoming holiday festivities for family and business. The enthusiasm of many of the business owners we visited with was contagious and heartwarming. There are some upcoming activities that will give you an opportunity to venture downtown and see for yourself.
On November 24th, you can join the Chamber and their support of Small Business Saturday in Brighton. Please see their article on page 16 outlining the day’s activities. What a great time for you to support our local businesses. Also, the Festival of Lights will be coming in December to the Historic Downtown area. That event is incredible fun for the whole family. Please see that ad on page 16 too!
This is our favorite time of year to express our thanks. We want to thank all of our advertisers for their continued support of our magazine.
We also want to thank our readers for the feedback we receive regarding what The Brighton Buzz means to them. My eternal thanks goes out to the Brighton Buzz team. Without their abilities and devotion to our monthly publication, this wouldn’t be possible.
Happy Thanksgiving From All of us at The Brighton Buzz,
