Home Prices continue to climb in 2017. They are up over 8% from this time last year. This tells us a few things. First, is that the market has cooled a bit which is a good thing for the affordability index for first time home buyers.

We are still seeing multiple offers on homes under $350,000 and even in the $400,000 range. Sellers still need to price their home realistically because buyers are very educated today. Interestingly, for sale by owner (FSBO) listings are down in this hot market.
