Offered by Dr. Jim Campbell

Dr Jim CampbellIt’s a simple question. How do you feel? It’s hard to believe that it’s already July. Summer is finally here with fireworks for the Fourth, outings to the mountains and plains and lots of barbeques and get-togethers. It’s a fun time of the year and should be a little more relaxing, too. Are you looking forward to doing some fun and relaxing things? I’d like you take a moment and sit quietly as you read this article and think back to January of this year and ask yourself: “Am I feeling better today than I was back then?” It’s only been six months but if you have been dealing with pain it might seem like an eternity. Chronic pain sufferers often come to me. What I’ve heard from them over the past 32 years is: ”Doc, I thought it would go away”.

If you are still dealing with pain and discomfort that you were experiencing back in January, it’s time to do something about it. Pain is a warning signal from your body. It’s your body telling you that something is not working right. So what do you do? Mask the symptom with pain relievers, muscle relaxers or over the counter pain medications? Have you gone from doctor to doctor, specialist to specialist and are still frustrated with being in pain? If so, I welcome you to try a different approach.

I specialize in natural, non-invasive, nonsurgical pain relief combining Chiropractic care, Cold Laser Therapy, Applied Kinesiology, and a variety of other healing methods. Over the last three plus decades and thousands of patients, I have developed a holistic perspective in working with my patients. I recognize that you are a unique individual when it comes to your problem and you need to have your pain assessed and treated accordingly. Have you tried Cold Laser Therapy? The Cold Laser is my “go to” tool for amazing results when all else fails. It helps relieve all kinds of pain such as back, knee and joint pains, sciatica, and fi bromyalgia. But it all comes down to this. Are you ready to eradicate your pain?

As we head into the best part of the summer, make sure you will enjoy it to the fullest. Call today and let’s work together to make this a great time of the year for you. Don’t let your pain hold you back any longer.

What have you got to lose? You not really living if you’re living in pain!

Offered by Tolison and Williams

Tolison_WilliamsWe would like to take this opportunity to thank the Brighton community, our clients, and our trusted colleagues and advisors for contributing to our success as we celebrate our law firm’s second anniversary. We are so grateful to be able to do what we love, in a place that we love, and with a team that is dedicated to our Firm’s goals and our work.

Katie continues to work with family law clients, and once again received prestigious recognition with her nomination for Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2015, making this her fifth time being recognized as a preeminent practitioner in her field. Katie continues to serve as a Board Member for Senior Hub, Inc., and is always enjoying time with her kids, their activities, and family events. She is an active member of the Adams and Broomfield Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.

Katie is supported by her longtime Paralegal, Cindy Schell, her husband and our Office Manager, Keith Tolison, and, as of July 1, a new Associate Attorney, Zachary Daigle. Zack comes to the firm with three years of experience and hopes to contribute to the Firm’s goals of local involvement and professional development. Zack graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law, and is married to Krysta and has two young daughters.

Casey continues to work with private clients in the areas of elder law, estate planning, probate, and trust settlement, and manages an intense caseload in her role as a Deputy Public Administrator for Adams and Broomfield Counties. She was appointed to the “Probate Advisory Committee” in 2014, a statewide committee through the Supreme Court Administrator’s Office, that works to improve probate procedures and policies. She will continue to serve as Chairperson for the Colorado Bar Association’s Civic and Community Affairs Committee and will assume the role of Chairperson for the Rules and Forms Committee next term. Casey was recently appointed to serve on North Metro Community Services Human Rights Committee, and looks forward to contributing to the important work this organization and Committee does.

Casey is supported by her Paralegal, Natalie Schlidt, her Legal Assistant, Michele Vargo, her Property Manager and husband, Taylor Williams, and an Associate Attorney, Jeff Althaus. Jeff joined the firm in May and has already proven to be a valuable member of the team. Jeff is an active member of the Adams and Broomfield and Colorado Bar Associations, and will assume the role of Secretary for the Rules and Forms Committee next term. Jeff graduated from Hamline School of Law in 2011, and prior to joining our firm, ran his own estate planning law office and worked for a legal marketing company. Jeff is a Board Member for “Inside the Orchestra,” a phenomenal non-profit organization that brings music and arts education to children in a unique and effective way. Jeff enjoys camping and the outdoors, especially if it is with his Siberian Husky, Moses.

We will continue our efforts to contribute to the communities we serve and our profession, and look forward to another great year. We wish you a blessed summer and safe 4th of July, from our family to yours.

Susan KlineWith this July issue, we have completed 10 years of being in publication. At the beginning of this journey, there wasn’t a clear path or understanding of what The Brighton Buzz might become. We have experienced consistent growth throughout this period of time and have much to be thankful for. I’ve had an opportunity to meet many interesting and dedicated people on their paths to developing their businesses in this process. Along with building a successful business ourselves, we have built relationships that have embellished our lives and provided experiences not possible in any other circumstance.

There are many people to say “Thank You” to and I want to start with those that help me put our magazine together. For the last 7 1/2 years, Kovas Lapsys, our lead designer, has devoted his enormous talent and ability to work under pressure to all of our advertisers. He has done a fantastic job and is a very important part of our Brighton Buzz Team. Jeremy Cantalamessa provided graphic assistance to us for five years and recently took a full time job which opened the door for Sara Line Bjorn Frisk to bring her graphic talent to help us refresh our look and work on the website. Zachary Reece, our current web designer, has been a help to us for many years with website updates and graphic assistance when we needed an extra hand. He will be passing the website torch to Sara and you can look for some helpful updates going forward. We also call on A Witness to Life Photography, Rhonda and Shanna Thompson, to take those critical shots that are needed for a cover or ad that can’t be done with our limited expertise. To all of these people, I can’t say in words what your participation has meant to me in the development of the magazine. You are an awesome team!

Last, but, not least, our advertisers have been a huge part of the success of our magazine. We strive to include advertisers that anyone would want in their homes or in their lives and are proud of those that are a part of our publication monthly. The quality of those individuals keep our readers calling them and a comment I hear frequently is that The Brighton Buzz is a resource for good products and services and is anticipated each month to see what is happening in Brighton and to receive the great coupon offers from our advertisers. For that reason, we appreciate every person who has supported our magazine and made it what it is today. There is one thing that is abundantly clear….we have been blessed!
