Many of us, including me, enjoy meeting people face-to-face. I am such a people person it’s crazy. I love people!!! Not everyone is though, and I appreciate our differences.

Lately, I have been reflecting on the pros and cons of the COVID-19 time we have been living through. As much as it was a “rug pulled out from under our feet” moment, it allowed a lot of us to look at our daily activities in a different light.

I have always been one to think that the face-to-face appointments were the only way to go. I think this comes from my desire to be around people. One thing that I did learn from forced isolation was that we could actually accomplish
a lot over Zoom or the phone. It was such an eye opening experience for me.

I wanted to bring this up this month because as people are getting back into what might feel like a more normal lifestyle, there could be some who are still a little hesitant to go full on. It’s good to be reminded that even with something as complicated as Medicare, we can accomplish a good understanding over the phone or with a virtual video appointment.

If you happen to be the type of person who prefers a phone call or Zoom/Facetime call versus meeting in person, please know this is completely fine. You can still understand the Medicare transition through either of these means.
