Offered by Brian Margolis

Home prices traditionally dip a tiny bit in the fall. This is because there are fewer buyers and homes still on the market from the summer. But interest rates were not changed at the Federal Reserve’s September meeting, which is great news for both sellers and buyers. With rates staying low, buyers can still afford to purchase their next home.

If you are looking to sell your home, you are still in an extremely hot real estate market. Granted, the days of 10 to 20 offers in the first few days a home was on the market is not as frequent. Sellers shouldn’t be surprised or disappointed if it takes a few weeks for a home to sell, which is very typical, especially during this slower season.

Of course, this where having an experienced Realtor on your side is important, so we can help you price your home correctly so you get top dollar, and don’t languish on the market. We can also make sure you don’t miss out on your next dream home, or end up carrying two homes in cases of corporate relocation.
