Offered by Tolison and Williams
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Brighton community, our clients, and our trusted colleagues and advisors for contributing to our success as we celebrate our law firm’s second anniversary. We are so grateful to be able to do what we love, in a place that we love, and with a team that is dedicated to our Firm’s goals and our work.
Katie continues to work with family law clients, and once again received prestigious recognition with her nomination for Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2015, making this her fifth time being recognized as a preeminent practitioner in her field. Katie continues to serve as a Board Member for Senior Hub, Inc., and is always enjoying time with her kids, their activities, and family events. She is an active member of the Adams and Broomfield Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.
Katie is supported by her longtime Paralegal, Cindy Schell, her husband and our Office Manager, Keith Tolison, and, as of July 1, a new Associate Attorney, Zachary Daigle. Zack comes to the firm with three years of experience and hopes to contribute to the Firm’s goals of local involvement and professional development. Zack graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law, and is married to Krysta and has two young daughters.
Casey continues to work with private clients in the areas of elder law, estate planning, probate, and trust settlement, and manages an intense caseload in her role as a Deputy Public Administrator for Adams and Broomfield Counties. She was appointed to the “Probate Advisory Committee” in 2014, a statewide committee through the Supreme Court Administrator’s Office, that works to improve probate procedures and policies. She will continue to serve as Chairperson for the Colorado Bar Association’s Civic and Community Affairs Committee and will assume the role of Chairperson for the Rules and Forms Committee next term. Casey was recently appointed to serve on North Metro Community Services Human Rights Committee, and looks forward to contributing to the important work this organization and Committee does.
Casey is supported by her Paralegal, Natalie Schlidt, her Legal Assistant, Michele Vargo, her Property Manager and husband, Taylor Williams, and an Associate Attorney, Jeff Althaus. Jeff joined the firm in May and has already proven to be a valuable member of the team. Jeff is an active member of the Adams and Broomfield and Colorado Bar Associations, and will assume the role of Secretary for the Rules and Forms Committee next term. Jeff graduated from Hamline School of Law in 2011, and prior to joining our firm, ran his own estate planning law office and worked for a legal marketing company. Jeff is a Board Member for “Inside the Orchestra,” a phenomenal non-profit organization that brings music and arts education to children in a unique and effective way. Jeff enjoys camping and the outdoors, especially if it is with his Siberian Husky, Moses.
We will continue our efforts to contribute to the communities we serve and our profession, and look forward to another great year. We wish you a blessed summer and safe 4th of July, from our family to yours.
