Well, we somehow have made it to November! And, there will be a huge sigh of relief…maybe not unilaterally for the outcome…but for the presidential campaign to be over. Whew!!! That will truly be something to be grateful for! Thanksgiving comes at the end of the month and is a holiday that is exceptional because it’s not about gifts, but, being grateful for the things that we sometimes don’t show appreciation for other times of the year. The food, friends and family gathering together to enjoy a time of celebration is always memorable. This year has gone by very quickly and we are fortunate to have had the experiences of 2016 to look back on. There are always many things to be grateful for and this is the perfect time to do it!
We, at The Brighton Buzz, are very thankful for the support we’ve received from our advertisers in their varieties of businesses and organizations. We are more than appreciative of the opportunities we’ve had to learn more about each of them and, hopefully, increase the success of their operations. Each business has its unique identity and we try very hard to seek out their special qualities and bring them to life in their advertisements. It’s a privilege and pleasure to be a part of their business journey. Our sincere thanks to each and every one of you.
I am also very thankful for the talented and committed staff that works tirelessly on the magazine. Kovas Lapsys, our new ad designer, and Sara Bjorn Frisk who puts the magazine together and makes ad changes as well as takes care of our website and social media are both a very large part of how we are able to make the magazine happen. Working together as a team is the best experience I’ve ever had and I’m thankful to be a part of this evolution.
Lastly, it’s important to spend a time each day acknowledging the good things that make our day memorable. Thanksgiving, as a holiday, is undoubtedly special, however, finding joy in every day is life altering.
