Susan KlineHave you ever known anyone who frequently says, “Oh, they’re so lucky!” when referring to someone else.

While luck does play a part in our lives, more often than not, we make our own luck either by good planning or having a personality that attracts what is needed. Positive behavior is magnetic in many ways. Life’s challenging nature is one of the few “givens” we can count on daily. We have the opportunity to either see those challenges as growth experiences or, at the other end of the spectrum, “pains in the neck.” It’s always attractive to know someone who doesn’t fold their cards at the slightest adversity and works into their day a way to make life interesting…. and positive. That problem solver is someone to know and we should give thanks for their wisdom and strength. In this month of good luck, let’s work toward being “go to” people who are the ones that are so lucky!

We’ve been fortunate to have some amazingly warm weather recently, and whether it’s time or not, we know that Spring is right around the corner. A number of the advertisers are beginning their Spring season early and happy to see things being busy already. Please note our new advertisers and take a moment to learn more about them. Our community is growing and commerce is growing right along with it. Please note the articles in The Brighton Buzz March edition about transportation development as well as information about new business growth in Brighton. We’re wanting to keep you informed of those future plans and create a buzz about what’s happening in this Northern Metro area.

So, let’s venture into March with some thought provoking quotes from several very wise people:

“If one is lucky, a solitary fantasy can totally transform a million realities.”
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.”
~ Maya Angelou

“Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.”
~ Dalai Lama

All the best this March,

Susan
